Njoa, es ist eher problematisch zuverlässige Hoster zu finden. Localhoster ist super, nimmt aber nur 20 MB files, Mediafire macht bei 200MB dicht, das ist auch zu wenig. Die parts haben halt ~467MB jeweils wenn ich das korrekt im Kopf hab, das ganze Megapack ist aktuell bei ~6,5 GB, Ich überlege auch schon nen eigenen freien Server zu nehmen. es gibt nen Hoster wo man kostenfrei websites bis 7GB platzieren kann, das würde ja noch reichen, die Sache ist dann eher die parts alle hoch zu laden, würde aber wohl nicht mit FTP anfangen und nen Monat uploaden sondern eher nen script zur Hand nehmen. Mal sehen, vielleicht verfolge ich das die Tage mal, man müsste dann aber da auch schauen was die Geschwindigkeit beim Download macht.

Ich hab zum Beispiel nen "Multiaccount" mit zugriff auf ca. 100 Hoster. Daher geht bei mir sowieso imemr alles furchtbar schnell.
Aber die Möglichkeit das Pack von unterschioedlichen Hostern parallel zu ziehen wäre für viele sicher schon hilfreich. Kenne auch einige Hoster, die 1 GB Dateien nehmen. Ich schau mich mal um...

Hm, ihr habt doch die selben Links wie ich. Die werden bei mir problemlos gefunden und ich kann auch Downloaden, also würde ich spontan mal den Browsercache ausschließen.... Naja, einfach mal probieren, vielleicht gehts wann anderes, das Problem ist bekannt, wir arbeiten dadran und hoffen demnächst genug Möglichkeiten anbieten zu können.

Ist der Fehler bei mir oder sind die Links auf den Megapack nicht mer auf Game Font? Wenn ich versuche irgendwelchen Teil downloaden, erscheint immer diese Meldung:

File not found, you will be redirected to http://www.gamefront.com

Habe auch die Browsercache gelöscht und kein Erfolg...

Ja, Gamefront ist in den letzten Wochen etwas problematisch, es wird an alternativen und neuen Links gearbeitet und ich hoffe, dass wir in den nächsten Tagen stabile Downloads haben.

I'am also aware of the problems with Gamefront in the last few month, but there are not so many Hoster where we can upload this giant amout of Data. So we may should consider a torrent in the future, or if there is someone whith a better Idea: Go on, I am listening!

I believe most people are familiar with torrents by now and it would be easy to do. No need to upload 6GB to any host, just start sharing the files and the more people who have the base pack complete will keep sharing. I prefer one-click free hosting sites like you, but with such huge data collection I think torrent is the best way to go.

There's a problem with torrents. You need some REALLY good seeders, if you want to start the sharing. Besides thart, most people in germany don't use torrents.

I couldn't know about what people in Germany use, but this pack is not about Germany
I mean people from all over the world download and use it.

It's true you need good seeders to begin with, but they won't have to keep seeding forever. Once the torrent is received and shared by more people, the easier/faster it gets.
It's worth giving it a shot I think. Now people try the Gamefront links, it gives them error, or it's too slow and they leave disappointed.

Well, not necessarily. You have friends in a few foreign communities. I'm sure they'd be willing to help with it if you ask them. Portugal, Spain and England to name a few. Since someone has the whole base pack, all he needs to do in order to help is to download the torrent file and seed.

So ein Bild hatte ich bei dem Pack zu Lommel United vor ein paar Wochen noch nicht reinmachen können, da dort die ID fehlte...
